Stop #1 | The Focus on Talent

The Road to $100M

The undeniable constraint of the real estate wholesale company / fix and flip company at this time is filling some duplicative and some new roles in our organization. We are marketing heavily for different roles. Some will be much harder to place than others, but altogether, they should allow us to near double in our capacity to handle addtional inbound leads. We have the capacity to double ad spend, so that is what we will do when the roles are filled.

The key in this phase is to not just hire great people, but to build a system that allows us to repeatedly market, screen, hire, and train them. The sub-sections of it may vary by position, but ultimately there should be one comprehensive playbook for company hiring.

My goal is that by next issue, I have the best core concepts in each of these areas:

  1. Marketing for Talent
  2. Screening for Talent
  3. Hiring for Talent
  4. Training

More on that to come.

Three Ideas Worth Stealing

The CEO’s job is to allocate resources (time, effort, & money). CEOs should allocate their time to their greatest constraint. – Alex Hormozi, Acquisitions.com
Building a business to sell and building a business to hold require the same strategy and process. – Alex Hormozi, Acquisitions.com
The more you repeat a behavior, the more you reinforce the identity associated with that behavior... Whatever your identity is right now, you only believe it because you have proof of it. – James Clear, Atomic Habits
